Who is Gathered for?

Gathered is a private, invite-only community platform for church youth groups. Youth pastors create a closed community and personally approve every member. Students must be 13 or older to create an account.

How do I join a church community?

Ask your youth pastor for the 6-character invite code or a direct invite link. You cannot search for or discover communities — every community is private and requires pastor approval to join.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app → Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted immediately. If you can't access the app, email support@startgathered.com and we will process it within 5 business days. Full details: Delete Account page.

I'm a parent — how do I report a concern about my child's account?

Email privacy@startgathered.com with the subject line "Minor Account Request." Include your child's username or email address and the name of their church community. We will respond within one business day.

How do I report inappropriate content or a safety concern?

Inside the app, tap the three-dot menu on any post or message to report it — this notifies your pastor immediately. For urgent safety concerns, email support@startgathered.com with "URGENT" in the subject line.

How do I cancel my Gathered subscription?

Website (Stripe): email billing@startgathered.com or use Manage Subscription inside the app. App Store: iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Gathered. Google Play: Play Store → Subscriptions → Gathered.

What is Friday Night Live (FNL)?

Friday Night Live is a live game show feature built into Gathered. Pastors host real-time trivia and quiz sessions the whole youth group can join from their phones. Available on paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro).

What is Gather?

Gather is Gathered's built-in audio room feature — a private voice chat space for your community. Pastors can create rooms for the whole group or invite-only sub-groups. Available on paid plans.

Is my community's data private?

Yes. Each church community is completely isolated — posts, messages, prayer requests, and member lists are visible only to approved members of that specific community. Gathered staff can only access content when required for moderation or safety purposes.
